How long can a titrator last?

Longer than you might think

Metrohm titrators are built to run for decades. In fact, some of the instruments still in daily use today were installed generations ago – and they’re still delivering trusted results.

Is your lab's titrator still running strong after all these years? Submit a photo of yours and help us find the oldest Metrohm titrators still in use!

How it works

Submitting your entry takes just a minute.

Tell us about your titrator and upload a photo. We’ll be highlighting some of the oldest instruments and their stories over the coming weeks.

To enter, we’ll ask for:

  • Instrument model (if known)

  • How long has this titrator been a part of your lab? (best guess is fine!)

  • Do you know the story behind this instrument? (what is it used for?)

  • A photo of the instrument

  • Your lab or organization name

What happens next

Our team will review submissions and feature some of the most impressive instruments over the coming weeks.

And yes, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the oldest Metrohm titrator still running in the field.

If your instrument makes the list, we’ll feature your lab and its story as a part of this campaign celebrating the longevity of titration. Top 3 winners will also receive a YETI Cooler!
